Learn Skills, Practice Technique & Create Original Designs

We regularly offer wire wrapping classes: from the basics to more intricate designs and concepts. Other jewelry classes at Lithos include beading & knotting, wire earring making, Tree of Life pendants, classes for kids and families, and more.

We consistently offer jewelry making & DIY instructional classes, but Lithos is not limited to that. Periodically, we will host speakers, science series, live demonstrations, plus hands-on experiments and learning experiences for kids and young adults. Ask us about hosting your birthday party!

We are always adding new classes, so check back frequently for updated schedules & offerings. We are always open to suggestions for new classes to host; never hesitate to submit class requests by phone or email.

Wire, beading & knotting Classes

Please note: As of March 15, 2020, all classes have been postponed until further notice.

Learn foundational pendant techniques in our 101 and 102 classes, and get creative with more advanced designs and skill sets. In all of our classes, materials and tools for making your first, in-class project are provided at Lithos. We also have for sale most of the tools and materials that you would need to do these projects at home, and you will be sent home with an instructional pattern, so you can revisit step-by-step what you learned in class. While you are at Lithos, browse our selection of beads & cabochons to spark inspiration for your next project! Unless otherwise noted, all classes are taught by Perfectly Twisted Jewelry.

Beading & Knotting 101

MARCH 7, 2020, 1PM - 5PM

In this class, students will be guided through making their own 24-inch beaded and knotted tassel necklace.

Knotting helps keep your beads safe on the strand, offers some of the same meditative benefits as knitting, and is a fun way to start as a jewelry designer. Plus pros charge $3 to $5 PER KNOT to string your stones or pearls; making knotting an empowering and valuable skill.

Tools will be included for use during class, and class price includes materials (beads, tassel, string, etc) for the necklace you will make and take home.

Traditional Tree of Life Wire Wrapped Pendant

MARCH 21, 2020, 1PM - 5PM

Learn how to create a beautiful and unique wire sculpted Tree of Life pendant. Students will learn the tricks and tips of how to get fine detail in branches and roots and how to blend beautiful beads to create rich and colorful canopies. Students will also learn how to create and hammer harden a pendant frame of their own design.

Included in the ticket price is a material kit which includes wire and a canopy bead package. You also will get a fully detailed digital pattern tutorial for the Tree of life so that you can make more at home after class!

Wire Bracelet Class

March 22, 2020, 1PM - 5PM

Learn how to create a gemstone and copper wire bracelet using simple hand tools and beautiful 6mm or 8mm natural gemstone beads. This class, suitable for all skill levels, will teach you a foundational wire technique that, once learned, can be modified in many ways, giving you endless design options.

Your material kit includes wire, beads and everything you need to create TWO beaded bracelets. Additionally, you will receive a full digital PDF pattern, and a $10 gift certificate to Lithos.
